About

At VA-Photography, our concept is simple: capture the everyday to help others see life in a whole new way.

We often don’t take notice of things around us, and it is our goal to introduce you to a new way of looking at things under a different light. We hope you enjoy our everyday images, and also encourage you to share some of your moments as well.

Here are some tips on how to do it:

1. Bring your camera everywhere you go. Get in the habit. A great photo-op can happen in the most unexpected places at unpredicted times. Always have a camera handy to capture the moment.

2. Make photo sharing easy. Photo sharing doesn’t have to be hard! Sign up for a free Flickr account or even start a WordPress blog to host your photos. These sites have been designed for ease of use and will have you up-and-running in under 5 minutes.

3. Tell a story. Try to capture the day’s event in a single photo. If you were to write a story of your life/day, what photo would you use as its cover?

4. Don’t think, just do it! There will be times when you’ll think there’s nothing interesting left to take a photograph of – but there’s always a great photo to be made. Take a minute and have a look around you – are there objects on the desk? a view out of the window?
